A joyful celebration!

 Anna and I were invited for the 20th Anniversary celebration of the Developmental Paediatrics Unit at CMC Vellore, which was established in 1997 with a Memorandum of Understanding with ASHIRVAD Christian Concern for Child care.

In the memoirs published, what touched us was the story of joyful journey they portrayed. The poem by Micheal Card quoted in the back cover page summarised the spirit of that joy in a most touching way.

From a group of 15 in the team in the department when I retied in 2008, it is now about 35 in the team, which speaks a lot about the most impressive journey the department has made in accompanying children with special needs.
