Cloud and clarity

These are two pictures taken on the same day, at the same place with one minute in between. The first picture is cloudy and the second picture is clear. It was worth waiting  for one minute to catch the nature's glory and creation's splendor.

It is worthwhile to wait, to be  be clear about what you ought to say in a conversation, dialogue,  argument or in a conflict. What we say can bring clarity or confusion. A word spoken in season in love and understanding can bring clarity, healing and reconciliation. Our  gentle presence and and caring words are manna to human soul.

I saw two watchmen quarrel about their duty roster. One was angry because he was often in afternoon shift, thereby denying him time with is son who is three years old and goes to sleep before he returns from work. As I watched this loud conversation from an audible distance, one became silent suddenly. After a long pause, he said to the other, 'I am single and I can do the afternoon duty so that you can have the evening at home'. A  quarrel got resolved with a few seconds of inner composure and silence.

Let us pause, consider, and prepare before talking or responding. It  will surprise us as how each human contact becomes more upbuilding with this practice.
