Vanishing hills

What is a hill or a mountain without its green cover, rocky terrain and water falls! What draws us to climb mountains and explore the uninhabited mountain terrain is its naturalness and serene setting.

The last photo shows how the mountains are subject to indiscriminate and often unlawful quarrying. It takes away the nature's blissful blend of variety in its expanse. It is in recent times  that the hills and mountains are also subject to such a heavy quarrying.

We need to define for the benefit of posterity, what in nature cannot be destroyed or made use of. I wish more people will write in news papers and give a visual proof to the exploitation of the nature!

Every time Anna and I return after a road travel, we feel disturbed by human cruelty to nature.
