It was a pleasant afternoon of fellowship and sharing. The day began with the surprise of medical students of batch of 2017 arriving in the morning to complete the decoration of the foyer of the developmental paediatrics department. I was touched by their enthusiasm and thoughtfulness to lend their time and attention.
Between 2.30 and 4.30 most of the items on display were taken away by the visitors.
All of us were able to return home by 6 pm with a song of thanksgiving in our hearts for the fourth annual Christmas Cheer !
I feel touched by the kindness of Susan's parents, Hanna's parents. Shalini's grandparents, Leah's family, Renu's parents, Sally's family and brother..... The involvement and contributions went beyond just all of us in the department to make the Christmas Cheer a memorable occasion.
It is the cause- to help children coming to the department from flood affected families, which now becomes our responsibility!
