I have watched this tree along the way from the CMC Vellore college campus to the hospital campus for fifteen years. During a recent visit to Vellore, the tree looked fully dry! It stands on the bank of the vellore fort water tank. So it could not have been because of lack of water.
I wish I had a picture of its earlier majestic presence, which provided shelter for birds and shadow for many who use the park for recreation and picnic!
It lived its life's mission!
