I have noticed sometimes that the Barbets take shelter in the tree beside the feeding station for the night, to be at the feeding station at day break when the feeding bowls are filled.
They would even carry large chunk of food in their beaks and fly away to a private place to feed on it. The Bulbuls would share food with other birds, but Barbets differ in their behaviour! The squirrels and Barbets seem to have a similar behaviour while feeding!
These sights create an appreciative orientation towards differing human behaviour.
It was during a recent travel I found many using their earphones while listening to the programme on phone or lap top! There were few exceptions when that did not happen.
I felt encouraged by the mindful behaviour of many!
When others around us come to our orbit of consideration, we become more relational and mindful!
