I found how the Madhepura Christian Hospital campus has a green appearance, with every space that is available, used for turning the campus to have a green cover. The patches of flower and kitchen gardens give a new appearance to the campus.
The cultivation of millet is a conspicuous message. The consumption of millets although did not decrease in rural areas, their cultivation had declined. Now millets returning to be included in the staple diet, the hospital conveyed a message to foster millet cultivation. The banana plantation is another crop that is flourishing.
The potted plants and flower bearing plants in different spaces give a vibrant look to the hospital campus.
A hospital is in a life supporting mission. Amidst the usual services a hospital can provide, when its campus is used for sustaining life it gives a message of wholistic view of life, it practices as its calling!
When life is secure for the small created beings, as seen in the above photos, the ambience is ecologically balanced.
I felt enthused by the attention that is given to the environment for making its campus eco-friendly.
It is a witness to its sound stewardship of 'the garden of life' that it is given to take care of !
