Two forms of behaviour!

The difference in the feeding practice of a squirrel and a Bulbul is striking. The squirrel takes the banana up the tree to feed privately.

The Bulbul below feeds from the feeding basin. do it.  It does not fly away with a banana. The Bulbul's practice  co-feeding with other birds

A Barbet behaved like a squirrel flying away with a large portion of a banana.  It struggled a bit to swallow it. When another Barbet came close, it moved away expressing disinterest share the meal.

It is when we watch birds, we become even more conscious of human  instincts to own, possess, accumulate and control what we are given!

The squirrel, Barbet and Bulbuls received food given to them. The squirrel and Barbet showed a possessive behaviour

The Bulbuls had a sharing behaviour !

The possessive and sharing behaviours are a contrast; that is what we come across  in  human behaviour!
