Sunday morning scene!

For two years now, since our Gauva tree started giving us fruits, we had Barbets coming to relish the fruit. Now the Parakeets come for their meal. Between the Barbets and parakeets, we  might have only the left over fruits.

What fascinated me this morning was how one parakeet found the fruit and called out for its pair to come. That bird call was loud but sounded different  The signal immediately alerted its pair and it also arrived on the scene. They took turn to feed on the fruit. They showed courtesies to wait for each other! To think of that as the way the avian species behave was revealing.

The Parakeets used to eat most of the star fruits in our garden and now they have turned to Gauva fruit!

The birds find their feed! The trees become their home whether it be for their feed or for nesting!

A friend sent me a kind message this morning. That was a reminder to me of what the parakeets were doing to each other. They expressed their caring nature toward each other while taking turns to feed from the fruit!

We are to find our neighbours whom we can love!
