Loud and tuneful Birdsong

This small restless olive green bird with whitish underparts, a rust coloured crown and two elongated pinpoint feathers in the tail is the common Tailor Bird which has an incremental tuneful bird song, which can be heard from far off. That is I how I kept moving around till I spotted this bird this morning.

It is only the size of a sparrow and not easy to spot in the thick foliage of garden. But its birdsong makes up for all its limitations.

This compensation is a universal phenomenon when a person feels limited by emotional or bodily restrictions.

I met a seven year old child who is not sociable enough because of which he is excluded by friends. But he is brilliant with some other skills such as solving mathematics problems,  and memory and recitation skills of prose and poetry.  In spite of this he is often remembered for his limited social skills. I wish he gets recognised for his natural skills and is not remembered for his limitations.

The Tailorbird is one such bird, who distinguishes with its loud and distinct tuneful birdsong!

Limitations and compensations often co-exist!
