The photos above taken during the morning walk in our garden tell me a lot about the happenings in our garden!
Most of the above photos remind me of the several sights and scenes one might miss unless one is alert and present.
I have begun to look at morning walks for this purpose- to welcome sights and feel connected with them!
When our domestic worker gathered a sackful of black pepper from the pepper plant in our courtyard, my memories went back to about fifty years, when the pepper plant was planted. Year after year, it yields. It is a tree where birds make a regular halt during their morning flight journey.
Similarly each of the sights brings back memories and give a sense of being surrounded by history and people.
The flowers in this collection bring memories of Anna's efforts to make the flower garden in our courtyard colourful and seasonal.
The bulbul with its bird call invites us to celebrate the joy o life and living!
