On our way to work today at 8.15 am we feared that the road we were driving on would be flooded a short while from then as the water level at that time was only half a feet below the road. When we returned by 4 pm we had to return as we could mot access the road due to its submerging!
The carnival spirit with which people were bathing and swimming in water was a sight to watch.
There are side roads which were usable because of which the traffic did not get disturbed excepting for the detour most of us had to take.
There is some respite from the rain since mid day today!
