Two dogs and two behaviours!
Dafny would like to be on the go following any scent, sound or movement and it is an effort to make her sit and play! While Dulcy follows us especially, Anna and would like to seek our attention to play with her. They are two years apart in age, Dulcy being the younger one!
They are two different breeds which might be the main reason for their behavioural preferences.
What is common between a Beagle and a Shitzu- their loyalty, playfulness and homeliness! So Anna and I cope well with them and their differences.
What is common between people are far more common than what is different! When I did a course on dispute resolution a few years back, the tutor kept reminding us through the course, that disputes arise because we do not see each other as companions in a common pursuit!
Dafny and Dulcy remind us of this all the time!
