These are the best photographs of Owls I have clicked in the recent years! I have been desperate to photograph the owl in our garden. Every time I go near the tree where it hides during the day, It escapes! So I decided to read more about their habituation to different environment!

One thing I am aware that owls do not like is movement! They restful birds and move about quietly!

Roses from Vagamon!

Anna and I visited a rose garden few days back in a hill station at Vagamon! There were sixty two varieties of roses in full bloom! It was mid day when we arrived at this spot. Not an ideal time for photographing!

The gardener told me that the season of flowering starts by October every year! He has been tending the garden for thirty years! The rose garden is his favourite place because according to him, they give the best return to his efforts!

Somehow nature is a mystery of colours and sights!

Good times!

We sat together for a photo after the inauguration of the Learning Resource Centre at the Hall of Residence! Such  times are memorable, because there was a sense of fulfilment in the air!

It is good to feel content and convey that!

Guess the weight!

Out of forty five students who guessed the weight of the chocolate cake, Samuel came close to its weight with only difference of ten grams! Samuel told me that he felt it in his mind!

Remember we humans have the gift of intuitions! It is something we can cultivate it by listening to it!

The practice of intuition gives us another resource for discernment!

Teach them how to fish!

The students at MOSC Medical College, who were introduced to the discipline of research seem to bring surprises by getting prizes and awards. These three students got recognition at a National conference of medical students for their outstanding performance in poster and platform presentation.  

Anna who co-ordinates research at MOSC, told me that she herself is surprised by these initiatives of students to go conferences and present their findings!

There is something more than what we foresee in most students!

During a lunch break!

I found my colleagues hand stitching hand kerchiefs during their lunch break. They told me that they were doing this for the first time! They were doing for a cause! All of them were sold during the Christmas cheer sale!

Jam and Juice !

Three cheers, Susan for your excellent skills in making jam and juice! They were the most sought after items during the Christmas cheer. Susan said that she inherited these skills from her mother. When I asked her mother that she said that she inherited it from her mother...

We are given ... ! 'What is that we have not received?'

It was a delight to welcome Susan's father and mother at the Christmas cheer sale! They represent a culture of caring and hospitality that is touching!
