The new leaves and the old one!
All the new would become old one day.
I love to look at the tender shoots and leaves and have a good collection of photographs of them. The leaves come sprouting with an abundance of colour and vigour that the new leaves would be a contrast to the older ones till they too become old and look similar to others. At one time the old leaves would turn into another colour, in this case yellow before it turns brown and dry and fall off!
The old leaves become manure and would become the fodder for the plant to bring forth new leaves.
The nature's way is to give life and do so all the time!
I pondered over this phenomenon!
A tree is an offering to nature and humans are an offering to humanity!
Girl children suffer immensely within the family and outside the family from the statistics I come across !
Whys is that our society do not welcome girl children as an offering to humanity! Why are they viewed only worth of 'giving them away' in marriage in good time!
Fortunately, girl children seem to excel as well as boys, if not more in some areas! I wish society would have an equal status approach towards boys and girls!
New and old leaves are alike, although different in functions! Boys and and girls are alike in thier worth and status!
