Longingly looking!

Although I feel reluctant to post these pictures which are not sharp enough- they were taken when the light was poor in the morning drizzle, I do so to communicate an interesting sight I watched today.

This green small Barbet landed to inspect the papaya fruit in our garden. It moved around all the fruits to see if any was ripe.

Having found that none was ripe, it turned away form the fruits before it flew away!

But before it flew away, it did announce through its loud and abrupt bird call, how disappointed it was!

Sometimes we too have similar longing and disappointments!

That is the rhythm of life.

The disappointments cannot be the end of a journey to explore our longings!

The bird turned to another direction for its feed.

Being made to change directions in life happens for our good.

We are people called to live in the fullness of life and not under the shadow of disappointments for too long!
