I noticed this regular visitor to our garden flying between its favourite spots, this time without its usual bird song. Its female pair was missing for two days now. Its reason for singing is gone!
So Magpie Robin is in a grieving mood!
We too can lose the song from our lives sometimes. It is a personal experience for me during the last four months.
But the Robin visited all its spots during the morning round, to make its presence known. Some birds are protective of their territory.
When we lose the song, hope, faith, trust, etc. what is needed to live conscious of the loss but present to the rest of the reality!
Our losses cannot reduce us.. our life is a larger song in itself! The God who formed us and brought us into being sees us as his dwelling place.
Is that not a bigger reason to be singing even when we walk through darkness or valley experience in life!
