Although it is already hot and there is fear of water scarcity due to inadequate monsoon rains, farmers are planting during this season.
As I watched this I realised how a farmer acts decisively in hope!
In a conversation with a farmer, I found out that no matter what the climatic conditions are his instinct is to plant!
He lives beyond the realm of logic! If he does not get water to irrigate from the reservoir, he thinks that early rains would rescue him. He considers taking a risk more logical than not painting at all!
It opens a door for us to consider about the way we live! Does not the fear of the future restrain us from doing what we can! In the parable of the talents Jesus of Nazareth narrated, we find one person who received one talent not trading it for the fear of losing it!
Fear is a subtle feeling which makes us as non starters! Hope shall weaken the grip of fear upon our mind!
