The three wood peckers above surprised me. They climbed together and stayed in touch with each other and turning to each other in between. They climbed by moving around the stem of the coconut palm, which is a better way of a gradual ascend.
I noticed single or two wood peckers travel upwards on a coconut palm on earlier occasions. When I saw the three together it was even more special!
It is one thing to move upwards; it is yet another thing to do it jointly mindful of each other and keeping the pace with each other. The distance between them was more or less steady during the climb to the top of the tree !
I was recently asked a question by a well being friend about the process to strengthen community formation in an institution!
The wood peckers showed a way to be co-travellers- staying in touch by keeping a common and steady pace!
Seeing the wood peckers co-climb was like reading a page from wisdom literature!
