About hundred bags, stitched by Shanthi during her spare time over a period of two months. The bags were an attraction at the Christmas Cheer sale!
Shanthi did this for the last year's sale!
Shanthi has lot of work on account of her responsibility at the Early Learning Centre! And yet, to have been willing to do this has amazed me! Every time, I reached out to complement her, she would receive the complement gracefully and offer to do even more help!
Shanthi although has had some formal training tailoring, it is now she has been encouraged to do it confidently!
I feel grateful to Susan, psychologist in the department who originally thought of making the bags for Christmas cheer. Shanthi responded to this initiative proactively!
