When buds drop without opening, it is a sign of pests or deficiency in the plant harming the buds!
I notice how life slips out of its orbit of experiencing fullness in different situations.
The mid life from (40-65 years) is normally a season of fullness and overflowing. It is also a season when life can be under stress due to various reasons.
Looking back, I realise that the mid life season in my life was a time of some losses and many gains.
The strain of stressful relationships had a stormy impact on my being and its wellness. It took a while for me to realise that 'letting go' was a way of responding rather than engaging and staying stressful!
There is a harmful way of living by carrying load of stress that most of us resort to, till through a new consciousness we recover to revise the way of our life.
The losses that I experienced arose, out of pursuit of personal aspirations, which dominated as a desire.
While we are to live with desire, it has to be inclusive of wellness for the family, colleagues at work place and neighbours with whom one interacts. When the desire becomes intensely personal, it becomes an ambition! That is when we rationalise stress to be necessary to realise the ambition! That is the path for losses sooner or later!
The jasmine blossom in the photo pauses a question! Do we initiate the losses in our life! Or are the losses due to external factors!
While losses are natural, the fullness in our being is what ought to be our longing! The jasmine bunch had blossoming flowers even while some buds fell off!
That can be the story of mid-life, where the trajectory is towards living with fullness and overflowing!
