The red wanted Bulbuls are the new arrivals in the feeding table in our garden.
Although there was a water bowl in the feeding table, this Bulbul attempted to draw water from a plant basin where the water level was lower than it could reach in spite of changing locations to drink. We normally keep the basins filled knowing that some birds use the plant basins for their bath.
The effort of the Bulbul to draw water was a sight worth watching. It exercised its efforts actively was not easy to give up! It did not return to the feeding table to drink from the water bowl.
Although it moved to another plant basin, it could not reach the water level.
Not giving up is its behaviour!
That is how the birds live. They have to find feed and shelter every day! Often no day is similar to them !
And yet they thrive!
They live well each day finding what they need!
There is a message of perseverance in their behaviour!
