I watched two tailor birds in the adjacent trees moving to be together. The third picture is that they are close to each other. The last picture seems to be one of saying yes to each other to be together fo courtship!
A family is about to be born!
This is the avian rhythm in nature.
The family formation is natural to all species.
And yet it is in families there is a great deal of stress at least among humans.
Just as there is family formation, there is a need to provide accompanying family education for all couples. I wonder whether it happens enough. From my experience of interviewing about forty thousand families in thirty seven years, I regret that family education practices do not exist in our culture.
Where do we begin! Often the family education ends with pre-marital counselling. At best some couples would get some support during child birth to give then an introduction for parenting! From then on most families are left on their own!
The church, society, other religious groups, I hope will view this omission seriously and respond in creative ways.
It is common in some countries that I have been to, for families to be in 'family fellowship groups' for their wellness and enrichment.
