A resident squirrel in our garden arrives early in the morning at the feeding table and feeds on the banana.
When the birds arrive it carries the banana away, hiding itself behind a bush and continues to feed !
On most mornings, it is a routine for the squirrel!
It arrives slowly and cautiously at the feeding table. Once it gets hold of a banana, it is lost in it till it is full and ready to move away!
A squirrel uses the tongue to receive the food and swallow it.
What a contrast from Bulbuls and Barbets! They co-feed at the table!
These are species specific differences!
The human behaviours have differences, which create the cultural differences!
An appreciative outlook is what helps us to receive them as inherent to each tradition and practice!
