Hollyhock and carpenter Bee

Where there are flowers, Bees arrive for nectar. The bees have a high level of odour sensors that they are drawn by the nectar in the flowers.

The last photo above gave an interesting feature of its habit of nectar gathering. It rests its body on the petals and receive the nectar.

The restful behaviour !

As I walked along, I noticed these two dogs on a sandpit in a similar restful orientation, and yet alert and observant! For dogs, it is a habit to  be keen detectives of the environment.

The way of being and behaving is a critical factor in the way we are present in each situation.

I realised that I can be focused on my pursuit and interest! How much I am observant and aware of the situation around where people might be in different states of need!

I happened to be behind these three men while on my walk. I overheard a conversation of the struggle of one of them trying to find a job after completing an engineering course. It was two years since he is looking out for a job. He has a part time job in a shop as a  packer!

The stress and despair was in his tone of words!

The Bee found its nectar; the dogs appeared restful....but the story was different to the one who was sharing his story to his friends.

We carry untold stories within ourselves in the inner landscape of our lives! Those thoughts and experiences season and colour our lives!

The inner self, is either strength giving or energy depleting ! We house in our body  a state of wellness or stress, which is what get expressed in our body. Our body is a medium of communication of that wellness or stress!

Being well within is what is essential to live restfully!

I find regular personal debriefing exercises useful to stay connected with the events hidden away in the inner landscape! That offers space and ambience to be accepting and trusting! That brings freedom and new consciousness of  God who is caring and watching over us!
