Indian Robins

I spotted a family of Indian Robins, six of them, while visiting the Bangalore Baptist Hospital Devanahalli campus. It was my first opportunity to add them to my photo album.

The ashy brown robin with a rusty red under root of cocked tail is the hen and the black one with a white patch on wing with other features similar to the hen is the male bird.

They are described as 'familiar and confiding' birds.

I walked in the garden during the in between time of consultations with families and this sight of birds was most refreshing!

A walk of few minutes in between regular work is a good habit! It gives exercise to the body and provides surprising sights!
