When I returned after three days of travel, what welcomed me was the products getting ready for the Christmas cheer -2019 in the department. When I heard that it was perhaps the first time, some of them were attempting to design and produce these articles of high quality art work and aesthetics, I was even more grateful for the enthusiasm that is engaging my colleagues.
It occurred to me that the spirit of collaboration in the department for regular work and creative expressions is the life line that keeps us going.
In the seventh year of the department, we have a story of our journey which comes up often in our conversation. We have a changing group of professionals and yet in the short time all of them spend in the department, they leave impressions that last.
The manger scene of Bethlehem is a moving scene. The babe of Bethlehem brought cheer to humankind.
Every time we relive the manger story, God's self giving is what comes home afresh. It is a receiving and giving time. We receive the goodness of God in our lives and share that joyful experience by giving ourselves to those who too need hope to live with!
