Neighbourhood behaviour!

Seeing these two avians showing a neighbourhood spirit of accommodation and acceptance towards a Squirrel and a Chameleon in our garden held my attention. They moved around the trunk of the coconut tree sharing the space and wanting to be together.

A sight not so common among avians. The avians show intimidating behaviour sometimes. This was therefore a pleasant sight worth celebrating.

A wood pecker by nature,  from what I observe in our garden, call out for other birds. I noticed Magpie Robins and Bulbuls being comfortable in the presence of Wood peckers.

It is not enough to give space for others, but finding space for others is a noble behaviour!

I heard a family talk about their habit of going to a friend's home once a week to take care of their developmentally challenged child so that that couple can have free time to be together or do something which would give them respite and refreshment!

That family created space for leisure and recovery for the couple by their act of mindfulness!
