The above three birds were well groomed even during the wet days in our garden!
They stood out among other birds because of the shine on their feathered coat.
They live attending to their body!
In a recent survey, forty percent of professionals between thirty and forty years of age showed blood pressure higher than what is mandated for their age! The overweight was noticed in about thirty percent of them!
I trace back to my mid thirties, which was when I first noticed variability in weight and blood pressure readings. It was in the early sixty, the symptoms of cardiovascular compromise became a concern which needed intervention.
It was during the mid life the health indices shows variability for most adults. Although I paid attention, the cascading effect was not fully preventable!
When I saw the birds above, I was reminded about the care and attention they offer to remain flight ready!
The Greater Coucal below was a contrast, drenched in the rain and not flight ready!
I wish the attention would shift to keep families physically healthy, where children and parents become used to healthy living practices!
We cannot escape stress, but we can follow health care practices which can reduce the impact of stress on our body and mid!
