The spring season begins on 21 March in different parts of the world.
This is what I noticed in our garden yesterday. The colour and freshness in the leaves are rather special. The dew on the leaves adds to the elegant look.
The exception to this spring season is that many Mango trees have not flowered, but some have mangoes in plenty.
The climate change is a serious concern.
The farmers have not yet prepared the field for the sowing season as the rain fall was marginal during this season.
The United States of America having rejoined the Paris declaration on climate preservation, there is a buzz about some positive changes ahed of us.
In our village, the only way to dispose of leaves and waste is by burning. By the time the practice of promoting bio-degradation reaches the village level, it is a long time to wait for.
The earth is our dwelling place. How are to be better stewards! There are lessons in school books about preserving nature and earth friendly practices. This gives us the hope of better educated children who would take a lead when they grow up!
A family whom I met, four of them-parents and children, outside a shopping complex told me that this is the expression of their resolve to reduce carbon emission. The father and mother go to work on bicycles and children are preparing to go to school when the schools reopen on bicycle.
I noticed that there are three new bicycle shops in our vicinity. So use of bicycle is on the increase!
