I became aware of the bimanual functions of hands in infants, with more regular use of one hand for some dexterous activities as early as nine months some years ago. It was this infant who alerted me that during infancy and toddler stages, all infants have this ability to use hands equally well. The emergence of the dominant hand, which we see in the third year of life or thereafter is linked to the dominance of one hemisphere.
From about forty photographs I treasure even now of this infant, I got introduced to a perspective that needed good grounding.
I do not know where this you adult might me now to send my greetings and gratitude for being my teacher in life!
