The nectar round of the sunbirds in our garden in the morning is often interesting to watch as they move about with a plan.
The birds have good memory of the site where flowers are blooming. They arrive at the sight and in no time they would have left after gathering the nectar. They are there for a purpose and do not get distracted.
This is purpose driven perspective to life! While auditing the way I work, I noticed that there are several occasions when I get carried away by distractions.
To stay focussed and follow a plan and direction would be important while being flexible and sensitive to the genuine needs of others. This is not distraction but living mindfully of others. What is the virtue in living if we are focussed only on ourselves!
