A garden is a place of confluences. That is why making a habit to walk is a good practice. There is one language of abundance nature brings to our consciousness.
The news now is of the inauguration of the new president in the USA, vaccination for COVID 19, thousands of daily deaths due to COVID, farmer agitation in New Delhi, earthquake in Indonesia... We feel dispirited by the stories of pain, loss and injustice.
What nature brings to us is the opposite. The gift of nature in abundance!
As humans we need a new perspective. We see in nature the opposite of what we see all around us-selfishness! The nature is giving all the time. It is a message to the habitual takers.
It is more blessed to give than receive all the time!
I find this as a challenge when giving is unyielding! I find enormous comfort in the parable of the seeds which fell among thorns, on the rocky soil, wayside and on the good ground. As we continue giving the good soil would bring the yield, although less in proportion to one's giving! Even then giving cannot be conditional. Giving is the only way of living justly and graciously!
