A boy's goodwill gesture!

A boy arrived with his father to feed the waterbirds. He had bread with him. The birds gathered from different corners of that waterbody in no time!

I found out from the warden of the park that visitors avoid feeding the waterbirds. If they want to feed, offer them cucumber, carrot, beans, etc. as they suit the waterbirds better than bread.

Another striking thing was there were four different species of birds waiting to be fed. They did not chase each other. They did not even chase each other even though only a few of them got the crumbs.

The waterbirds are permanent residents in the waterbody. They nest at the edges of the waterbody. There were a few young ones in one corner.

I found tolerance and co-existence at a high level of comfort among them!

A lesson to learn from the avians, when humans behave intolerably towards others on some occasions!
