Fifteen banana bunches!

Fifteen bunches of half grown bananas are damaged in yesterday's wind!

We loose a few due to rain and wind in a year although they are supported with poles to withstand the wind and weight of the banana bunch hanging. This year it is a greater loss.

The farmers in our village too had a similar loss.

And yet most farmers would plant banana every year knowing the possibility of losing all or some of them.

A farmer carries this anxiety when he plants and tends the plants.

As I went around watched the damage in the property, I felt encouraged by the many good experiences of living in this cottage. So inconveniences get subsumed in the gladness of good times!

It is rare now a days that we do not have electric supply for more than a hour or so! Now it is 24 hours without power supply and would extend to another 24 hours.

So we return to the earlier practice of drawing water from the well, lighting candles for light and using a hand fan when it is humid.

Life is a dynamic and eventful!
