In the history of the year 2025, 10th of May will be remembered for three turning points in the social history of nations.
First the newly elected Pope of the Catholic Church, Leo the 14th, made an appeal for peace in his first Eucharistic homily at Vatican and prayed for global peace.
Second, the leaders of four European nations met with the president of the Ukraine and decided to appeal for 100 days of ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in preparation for ending the war.
Three, there was an agreement reached for ceasefire between military leaders of India and Pakistan to end the five day military confrontation and engagement.
The flowers, dove and candle become symbols of peace that we have been longing for!
When there is peace, there is prospect of heart level listening to each other; there is prospect of dialogue to negotiate and consensus to be thoughtful towards each other.
What a joy it is to see the leaders of nations regard the earth as a home for all nations to live in peace with each other!
